Most people say it’s best to play just the top hands, and only ever play them other than when they are in the big blind. Statistically the top 10 poker hands are, AA, KK, QQ, AK, JJ, 10 10, 9 9, 8 8, 7 7, A Q. In that order. I was surprised to find that pocket 7’s win more than AQ. I used to think it was a very strong hand. You could play this way and win, but what if the cards are not coming your way, you could lose without playing one hand and just be eaten by the blinds. It’s a system that a lot of people use and win with though so it must work to a degree.
